Rev. Tina Dietsch joined our church on July 2nd!
She was born in Findlay, Ohio, and is a proud graduate of Findlay High School (www.findlay.k12.oh.us/fhs). Tina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College (www.wheaton.edu) with a double major in Theology and Psychology. From there, she continued her education at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY (www.asburyseminary.edu), earning her Masters of Divinity degree in May 2001. She began her ministry by serving as the associate pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church (www.limatrinityumc.org) in Lima, Ohio, where she served for five years. Pastor Tina was ordained as an elder in full connection in the United Methodist Church (www.westohioumc.org) in June 2004 at Lakeside, OH. In July of 2006, Tina began her ministry at Hopewell, where she instantly fell in love with the church and its people. Pastor Tina has two furry children, Ariel and Pepper. Ariel is a 2-year old red and white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Pepper is a 2-3 year old black Cocker Spaniel. They are the unrivaled joy of Pastor Tina's life. Tina has many hobbies, some of which include writing, reading, playing piano and violin, singing, and spending time with people. Above all, Pastor Tina loves Jesus and wants to share His light and Word with the world. Interim Pastor Phyllis Riggs
Thanks to Rev. Phyllis Riggs for her leadership during our
transition to a full-time minister in July. Pastor Phyllis has
now been appointed to two churches in the Lancaster area:
Mt. Zion and Cedar Hill Calvary.
Retired Pastor Charles Muller
RETIRED February 15, 2006, AFTER 30 YEARS OF MINISTRY,
20 OF THOSE SERVING HOPEWELL UMC.
Pastor Muller and his wife Brenda will be missed!!!
